Chia seeds may have got famous just now, but they have been used since ancient times because of its health benefits. Civilizations such as Incan, Aztecs and Mayans used to eat these super power seeds and though these seeds are really tiny, they are packed with nutrients that our body craves for.

• Smoothies: The best way to make your breakfast ultra-healthy is by making smoothie by adding chia seeds in it. Add frozen fruits, yogurt or milk of your choice and top it off with the seeds.
• Oatmeal: Chia seeds are highly absorbent, and you can easily put these in porridge or oatmeal. All you need to do is put a spoon of chia seeds in your cooked oatmeal and stir for a while.
• Salad: The best way to eat chia seeds is by sprinkling it on top of salads. Chop off some salad, put dressing all over it and sprinkle the seeds over it. You can do the same with fruits because chia seed has a toasty and nutty flavor, you can eat it raw also.
