Well, you can blame your genes for being fat if your family members are fat too and you all have to work hard to lose even an ounce. But genetics are not the entire story. It is true that genes too play a vital role in weight but taking nutritious and well-balanced diet and following a good exercise plan you can for sure maintain your weight and even lose it. Genetics play an important role in determining our metabolism and our tendency to gain weight but do not put the entire blame on them to give yourself an excuse not to work towards the weight loss. Remember this is your body and you got to take care of it. You have got one body to live in; it is up to you how you maintain it. Yes, I agree that it can be hard for you to lose weight but not impossible. Remember the word IMPOSSIBLE itself says I AM POSSIBLE.
No Exercise At All
Well, the fast paced life of today gives us no time for ourselves. We live in a mechanised world where things have become far too easy for us. We have vehicles to move around, elevators to move to higher floors, washing machine to do our laundry, dishwasher to wash our dishes, a vacuum cleaner to clean the house. There is a complete array of machines that do our work. Then what do we do, yet we are always busy. We do only mental work and no physical work and this is one of the biggest reasons of weight gain. Our lives have become too sedentary, that we don’t even walk the minimum number of steps that we should for the well-being of our body. It is very essential to at least walk around doing our little jobs. If you don’t get much time then make changes but walk. And if you are serious about weight loss then you would surely have to give time to yourself for some exercise. Do a little running or cardio. These are exercises for starters that can help a great deal in your weight loss aims. A little change will make a great difference and you will feel it soon.
