Say NO to Fad Diets

We all want to build Rome in a day and always end up getting more frustrated than being rewarded. The truth is that there is no shortcut to success and if you want results that are long lasting and consistent then you should always start with strengthening the base. This is the reason why it is always strictly recommended to say NO to fad diets. These kinds of diets will give you the results that you want but will also do more damage than good to your body. Don’t be unreasonable with yourself and try to achieve too much in too little time.

Here is why you should absolutely avoid fad diets.

You will feel dehydrated

When we aim to lose weight too quickly, we are mostly losing the water weight which leaves us feeling dehydrated. Our body is most comfortable when we gradually build up the stages for it to lose weight. However, when we force it drop pounds much sooner than it can handle, we put our bodies in serious jeopardy.

You will always feel too tired

Because you are not eating enough food or healthy food, you will not get the daily dose of energy required to keep you energetic. When you deprive yourself of calories, your body does not get the energy it requires to function efficiently. This is the reason you feel tired and lethargic throughout the day.

You can get affected by malnutrition

Crash diets will restrict your consumption of fat and also stop your intake of minerals and vitamins that are vital for your body. You will be deprived of all the essential nutrients if you limit the caloric intake in your body to bare minimum. Over a period of time, you can become malnourished.
